I was just thinking about all the other countries in the world who don't have as much freedom as I do. I worry about whether or not I finish my homework or whether or not my hair will look good in the morning after I wake up. Other people worry about whether or not they will get food, if their cattle will die, if the water they drink will make them sick. I complain about not having the latest ipod or the cutest clothes. Some people complain about not having a blanket. Or their child getting sick and dying. I live in the country where even the most severe illnesses can be treated. As I grow up I wonder what my husband will look like, how big our house is, how many kids we will have. In third world countries they worry about providing enough. Some people earn $70 a year. I can spend that in a day.
When I think about those will less money, I wonder what they think about life. Do they wonder why they have to live like this? Do they enjoy life? Do they ever have time to relax? You only have one life to live and I have the luxury of being able to enjoy and live it and learn. I don't have to worry about not having running water, indoor plumbing, or access to medicine. I am lucky to have a life where I don't have to worry.
