My Bestest Friend!

So it's my 16th birthday and for 12 of those birthdays, my best friend has celebrated them with me. And soon I will celebrate her birthday too! It's weird to think that for most of my life I have been best friends with the same person. I mean, who else my age can honestly say the same thing? I know that my friend and I have had our ups and downs. But we never let a fight get in the way. She has always been there for me....ALWAYS. So I am dedicating this post to her: Thank you for always being there for me. Without you, who knows? Maybe I wouldn't have made it this long (just kidding). But seriously. You keep me together. You know me so well that if we ever fought and never made up, I would have to kill you so my secrets never get out (again just kidding...well kinda...) Through thick and thin you never gave up. So I say thank you! For being you.
And for all my other best friends: Thank you for being you too! We have been together for such a long time it's amazing we haven't killed each other yet HA! I remember every moment together. All the fun times we had. And let's just say, that looking back, I've realized a few things- we were WEIRD. Like CAPITAL W. E. I. R. D. weird. Like certifiabily insane. I don't understand how anyone could possibly have talked to us without running for their lives/sanity. (I mean, do you remember Lily? or Flushie? Or our "ceremony") Yeah, now that you think about it to, you realize that we were really weird.
So THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE! YOU COMPLETE ME.

Birthday Weekend

Today is my BIRTHDAYY!!!! So Happy Birthday to Me:) And for my birthday, my grandma took me out to see Fiddler on the Roof at the Aronoff. IT WAS AMAZING. I highly recommend it. Yes it was long (3 hours) but it was practically the best 3 hours of my life. The main character has been performing for 40 years and has done over 3100 production of Fiddler on the Roof, 1500 of those being the main character, Tevye. He was born for that part. Or he just has amazing acting skills. One of those things. And while I was at the theater they announced the productions for next season. Lets just say I'm trying to convince my mom to buy season tickets....(Wicked, Beauty and the Beast, West Side Story, Momma Mia, and Les Mis). I really want to be a theater mom when I get older. I really enjoy watching musicals. And speaking of musicals....Friday night was the talent show. And this one freshman has some serious talent. He performed Mr. Cellophane from Chicago and I have to say he was definetely better than the professional actor from YouTube (no offfense to whoever that guy was). I mean, this kid was literally AMAZINGLY SPECTACULAR. I give him 10 stars. He had great stage perfomance and his voice was amazing. He was made for theater. So I sure hope he grows some...So anyway, if you haven't learned anything from this post then your stupid. So I will tell you what you should have learned: GO WATCH A THEATER PRODUCTION. They're amazing. Oh and you should also have learned that I am right now obsessed with musicals. Bye!

The End

So the other day I wrote a poem. It was my haiku. Basically it just says that another day comes. Days come and go and they never end. The day doesn't end. It just bleeds into the next one. The last line about the water is saying that nature never ends. The water pushes forward and then pulls back. Over and over again, never ceasing. And after I read over the poem again I realized that even though the days never end, I will. So why am I wasting my days? I won't be young forever.

Some More

These works are untitled and not very good, but I will show them to you anyway. So if you see this before 2/14/2011 please comment and tell me what you think. I need some help deciding which to turn in for my homework. So...here goes:

Haiku
The yellow sun sets
At the deep nothings of earth.
Water comes and leaves.

Quatrain
Nail biting, pen tapping
Hair ripping, tears crying
Leg jumping, paper flapping
Grades are back. Eyes prying.

Elegy/Ballad
Don't cry your eyes.
Don't wipe your tears.
Sadness is all He hears.

Take a left.
Take a right.
And you're there.
Sit and listen.
Reach your hand out
To touch granite.

Don't cry your eyes.
Don't wipe your tears.
Sadness is all He hears.

Set the flowers
By the stone.
Protect them from the wind.
Sit and talk.
He only wants to listen
To your words.

Don't cry your eyes.
Don't wipe your tears.
Sadness is all He hears.

It's been a year
Since you've been.
He misses you.
Sit and listen.
He only wants you to listen.
To tell you to be happy.

So…
Cry your eyes.
Then wipe your tears.
So happiness is all He hears.

For Rachel:

Okay so I have to write a poem for my english class. Well, let's just say I'm not a very good writer. Or poet. So I am just going to post some random poems that I have written and hope to get some feed back. And since my previous post was a 'disappointment' (eeccheem Rachel) hopefully this poem will be better.

Nail biting, pen tapping
Hair ripping, tears crying
Leg jumping, paper flapping
Grades are back. Eyes prying.
